AC Shadows Unveils Surprising Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that challenges traditional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Mission Disclosed
According to the official statement, "A strange meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of forbidden practices and fearsome transformations resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden cult.
The adventure concentrates on "strange trials and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Rewards and Bonus Features
Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an unique katana in addition to multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
